From the Artist: My artwork interrogates the language and landscapes of the manicured. As a product of late capitalism, paired with growing up in a northern Florida suburb, I came to know the hollow promises within consumerism.

Shopping malls, window product displays and cookie cutter store climates presented my endless desires through evolving forms of material wealth. These mundane experiences eventually lead to a string of debilitating battles of anxiety, depression and fulfillment in my own life. This erosion in my bliss is the source of my work.

My life experience has led me to wonder... What is the meaning of the human experience as we exist now? What does the future hold within our shared environments and failing systems? My art investigates the potential answers to these questions.

Exhibition ran September 9th-30th, 2017
